Wow! Twins! Do you have twins in your family? The ultra sound specialist asked, while I was stretch out on the table. Well yes! Several, I answered, having a questionable look on my face. Did you know you are having twins? She questioned. No, this is my first ultra sound, I responded with a trembling in my voice, not knowing whether to cry or laugh. Is this good news? I pondered to myself. Take a look, she said; there you have two sacs which mean that your babies are fraternal twins. Wow, how amazing, how exciting, what an adventure and experience. Can anything be more awesome? This journey with my twin boys truly is awesome.
They were born in April 2008, a bit early than scheduled because Jaheim’s heart beat was dropping very low and would then picks up really fast ( I’m sure they have a term for that I do not remember what it’s called right now). Also, since he was the baby that was at my lower abdomen, Jaden was pushing him down or out. (That’s what I was told). Emergency C-Section and they were born! Handsome boy! Due to Jaheim’s heart issue they stayed in the hospital for about a month. Thank God they were both healthy babies and were able to go home.
I have sisters that are twins and nephews that a twins. What a special gift from God!

Twins have always fascinated me! I’ve always wondered what it would be like to be part of a double act 🙂 They’re very cute. It must have been a shock though! 🙂
